New Teacher Institute: Administrator Support Session
LIMITED
Friday August 7, 2026 11:30am - 12:30pm PDT
Limited Capacity seats available
This required session is designed for administrators with teachers participating in the New Teacher Institute. Together, we’ll explore the key components of the program and, more importantly, how you can play an active role in helping your new teachers succeed. Through practical discussion and shared insight, we’ll dive into:
  • What effective onboarding really looks like—from navigating systems and logistics to establishing strong behavior management and building meaningful communication with families.
  • How veteran teachers can serve as invaluable guides—helping new staff find resources, master everyday tools (yes, even the copier), and act as trusted thought partners.
  • Opportunities to connect, collaborate, and brainstorm with fellow administrators facing the same challenges and opportunities.
Come ready to share ideas, ask questions, and leave with strategies you can immediately put into action!
